"I’ll start with the positives: the staff were friendly and the location is excellent—right next to Captain Zack’s, Island Creamery, and bike rentals.
Unfortunately, we couldn't stay. We checked in at 11:00 PM for a two-night stay and immediately found significant hygiene issues in our room. The sheets had large yellow stains, visible hair, and concerning brown spots. Additionally, the exterior door appeared to have been kicked in previously, which raised safety concerns.
We checked out within 30 minutes of arrival. While the staff offered a different room, we no longer felt comfortable staying at the property. We asked for a refund for the second night only, which was declined. Given that we didn't use the room and reported the issues immediately, we hope management would reconsider and provide a partial refund, but unfortunately not.
I see a lot of other reviews saying how clean the property is. That unfortunately was not our experience."
