Quiet and quaint B&B, lovely grounds. Its close to the main shopping district. The breakfast was fantastic and they ask specifically for any allergies or dislikes. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Charles is an amazing host and a really cool and interesting person. We had such a wonderful stay! There were so many thoughtful touches- the quaint little hot tub setup, cozy bathrobes, awesome tea selection, sweet library, and OMG the breakfast was out of this world!

Great bed and breakfast with a beautiful property in a very good location in eating Eastsound. Less than 5 min to downtown and quick walk to North Beach which had great sunsets. No more than 10-20 min drive to most places on the island. The breakfasts were cooked with care and delicious and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained

Charles and Jill are wonderful hosts; excellent cooks; and worldly, great people and conversationalists. The accommodation was charming and situated on beautiful grounds. Each morning after breakfast, we'd talk for a couple of hours with them about books, film, culture, travels, and everything under the sun, like old friends catching up. I can't rave enough about this experience

I loved the history of this B&B. It was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The hosts were interesting and socialized during breakfast. It was great to have conversations together with the other guests. I had the cute and extremely quaint room facing the trees. It was perfect. This place was very clean and the tasteful furnishings made my experience authentic and stylized for a comfortable stay. This place was FULL of interesting people. I will go back and stay again.

A lovely BnB with very gracious hosts, a super breakfast, and beautiful grounds. Our room was well appointed and spacious, but the king size bed was actually two twin together in an ill-fitting frame, so was rather saggy. We had an early departure on the second morning, so the hosts were very kind to pack us a bag breakfast to go.

Jill and Charles were amazing hosts! Their rapport with us was established well before even meeting them as we navigated the intricacies of ferry travel. They shared the history of the inn after one of their decadent breakfasts and offered must-sees as well as less traveled routes. After the glut of the Air BNB phase, these two and their lovely cottage were a welcome respite to the traditional B and B.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Best B&B we've ever stayed in. Walkable distance into the main town of Eastsound, and even shorter walk to the Orcas Center for live music (we were there for Jazz Fest weekend). The owners are super-nice, and after serving up amazing breakfasts each morning, were available for any questions on good hikes, shops, restaurants, etc. We'll be back to this place for sure.

What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. They have plenty of nice outdoor seating to breathe in the island air and relax as well. Breakfast was *amazing* each and every morning, just the right way to start a beautiful day on Orcas Island. We will definitely return for another stay!

Our 3 night stay at the Kangaroo House was exceptional. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The house is lovely with lots of great places to sit including a beautiful deck that feels like a tree house. Our hosts were just the best kind of people and exceptional cooks! The breakfasts were amazing! We can't wait to come back.
