  • Growing up in Australia listening to the tales of bravery and valour shown by both sides at Gallipoli in 1915, it was only natural that it was one of the first places I should visit in Turkey. This is the French Military Cemetery and it was so incredibly peaceful, it was one of my favourite places. It is beautifully tended, with lovely views out over the sea and I was the only person there - probably because it was the middle of winter! I will go back here and spend a few days self driving in order to spend more time in places like this. I am glad i did a tour that first day though, being both pushed for time and interested to hear the Turkish perspective from my very knowledgeable guide.

Ailecek Gelibolu gezimiz icin bir gece kaldık, odalar oldukca temiz, geyet guler yuzlu ve yardimsever bir hizmet anlayisi var. 3 kisilik odalarda 3. Kisi icin hastane tipi bir acilan koltuk yatak var o biraz rahatsiz ama normal yataklar cok rahat. Kahvalti acik bufe ve yeterli.Bahcede kahvalti oldukca keyifli, serviste cok iyi. Gönül rahatlığı ile tercih edilebilir.

I originally was booked for two nights but ended out enjoying the place so much I booked for a third night. Rooms were really nice, comfortable beds and bathrooms very clean. Ozkan and his family made me feel very welcome and were very friendly. Most of the breakfast is grown in their gardens so you know it is very fresh. Definately stay here if you go to Eceabat.

Çok temiz ve sıcak bir işletme

Emekli bir çiftin işlettiği ufak bir pansiyon. Çok temiz ve yardımseverler. Kahvaltıları pansiyon sahibi teyze hazırlıyordu ve her gün kendi bahçelerinde yetiştirdiği meyvelerden reçeller, zeytin ve domates veriyor. Ayrıca teyze her sabah kahvaltıya börek, kızartma veya benzeri birşey hazırlıyor. Gittiğiniz yerle olan beklintiyle alakalı ama biz çok beğendik. Arada eceabata geldiğimde başka yerde kalmam.
