"The building looked to have had some renovations - the room was clean. Other signs of recent renovations include the wall-mounted hairdryer sitting on the washing basin, not yet mounted on the still pristine wall. The underground parking lot was very convenient. The basement elevator lobby had a strong cigarette smell. The carpet there was very soiled. Birds live in the underground parkade - the floor could use more frequent cleaning. The lobby was clean and tidy. The front desk staff was efficient and patient despite working by himself while other members of staff were carrying out unpanned maintenance work (looked like someone knocked down a hanging sign in the garage). The location is very central - one block from the beach. A dozen restaurants are within one block. The public pool is kitty corner."
