"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Juste pour les exigeants du silence absolu, la situation du complexe est très proche de la route, on entends les véhicules bruyants roulants si on dort avec la fenêtre ouverte. Cela ne m’a pas gêné pour ma part. Le site est très récent et une jolie décoration de l’ensemble des bâtiments rendent le séjour très agréable. J’y reviendrais "

My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!"
