Across the road from Haymarket, decent bar adjoining hotel. Room quite small but fine for a couple of nights or so. Only problem was seal on window wasnt great so could hear qind whistling and traffic noise. Black out blind also had a tear which let in light too early. Decent value though.

Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket
The room we stayed in looked like it had had a water leak from the ceiling. The wall was full of mould and looked disgusting. Luckily we was only there for one night. Otherwise we would have changed hotel.
