I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels. The breakfast was by far the best free breakfast I’ve had. The food was fresh and delicious. A lot of different options to choose from. We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Edwardsville, IL over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was in excellent condition and extremely clean throughout our stay. The breakfast each morning was outstanding — fresh, well-stocked, and better than expected for a complimentary hotel breakfast. During our stay, it snowed about 8 inches, and we were especially impressed that the parking lot was completely cleared by the next morning. It was great to see such prompt attention to guest safety and accessibility. The staff truly made our visit even better. Everyone was friendly, cheerful, helpful, and very accommodating, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s clear this hotel is well-managed and takes pride in providing great service and a comfortable environment. We were very pleased with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location to anyone visiting the Edwardsville area. We will absolutely stay here again!

Positives: Clean room, great location, newer hotel, spacious room, free parking, coffee machine and lemon water were great. Negative: when we checked in, there was no one at the front desk. We rang the bell, waited for several minutes. The front desk attendant finally came from the back, she stated she had been in the restroom and her sister called. She proceeded to talk to her sister and family while on speakerphone. She did lay the phone off to the side and turn down the volume. She was not rude at all, she apologize for the wait, but we found her to be very unprofessional.

We were staying there for 2 nights. Excellent hotel. Staff was very pleasant. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! lots of choices, for any diet. they had gluten free bagels, cereals, sugar free syrup. yogurt, buffet of egg and egg white mini omelets, sausages, bacon, hash browns, fresh ground coffee, juices, hot cinnamon buns, variety of breads and sweet rolls, assorted teas, hot chocolate, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and toppings, the woman stocking the breakfast was so friendly and helpful! definetely would stay here again! highly reccomend!
