"We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"The stable cottage is roomy with 2 well appointed comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has mostly everything needed although we didn’t cook much during our stay. Since it was very hot it would have been useful to have some ice trays for the freezer. The cottage was quite dusty in places especially the bathrooms. "The accommodation is well equipped, there is sink, kettle, microwave toaster and in the cupboard is an electric 2 ring hob. The accommodation is spacious, with settee, table chairs large smart TV wifi. Large comfortable bed. Bathroom with walk in shower. There is outside seating and table. And off-road parking. Takes around 10 minutes to walk to the beach at Wiseman's bridge. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great stay, thank you very much."

"Booked the Gwbert Hotel for a 2 night stay before and following a Register Office marriage in Aberystwyth. The room and food were excellent. However, the hotel was informed weeks before our arrival, that the stay would be to celebrate our marriage. Unfortunately, on arrival the staff denied any knowledge of being notified of our event, and even when made aware made no effort or gestures to acknowledge our big day. The marriage details were clearly given to the hotel when the booking was made online and followed up with by phone. Shockingly, we were made to prove the phone call by showing our call log!! We gave the staff every opportunity to rectify their oversight, but still no gesture to make our stay special was made. The hotel is clearly not prepared or able to deal with special occasions which was extremely disappointing."
