The room was great. All beds was comfortable except one. The breakfast was excellent. The staff in the breakfast area was extremely nice!! However, apparently don't get many English speaking people. I speak very little German, but I tried. Check in was a little rude. **Please note the restaurant attached to not part of the hotel. We got there around 7 pm and decided to just to eat there instead of going elsewhere, the host was rude, told us we had to have reservations. He did find us a table, there were several. But we saw others just seat themselves in the outside area. The waitress was extremely nice though.

Hotel in Eggstatt

Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. Breakfast buffet was typical continental with fresh bread and rolls, lunch meat, boiled eggs, cereal, yougurt, tea and coffee. No problem getting filled up for a day of sightseeing. I definitely would recommend!

This was such a a cute stay and I really enjoyed all the in house dining options. The housekeeping and inn keepers were super bubbly and helpful. A complete stay from breakfast to bedtime I felt I was truly catered to. The only complaint I have is the front desk hours, I had an early flight and the website advertisses a 24 hour front desk, however when I went to turn in my key and such no one was available. Aside from that I have no complaints, the staff really did a wonderful job of making me feel welcomed in my stay so far away from home. :)

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber, das Bad hervorragend und die Betten bequem. Für die Unterkunft: 5 Sterne. Aber: sehr schlecht organisiertes Frühstück. Eigentlich gutes Angebot, aber jeden Tag fehlte ewig Elementares wie Eier, Wurst, Käse und es dauerte Ewigkeiten bis nachgelegt wurde. Dann kamen die Eier nach einer halben Stunde, haben darauf verzichtet. Waren schon am Gehen. Gemütlich frühstücken war unmöglich, mussten immer gerade das nehmen, was noch nicht leer war. Der Biergarten sieht einladend aus, der Service ist eine Katastrophe. Lange Wartezeiten, am ersten Abend eine Stunde aufs Essen und 30 Minuten auf einen Wein. An drei Abenden kam das Essen immer nur für eine Person und viel später für die zweite. Gemütlich gemeinsam essen war unmöglich. Wollten aber nicht fahren aßen deshalb vor Ort. Sehr deftige Küche, der Saibling ungewürzt und in einer Butterlache (Achtung: Mandelbutter ist hier normale Butter mit Mandelblättchen!), das Jägerschnitzel stark versalzen habe ich zurück gehen lassen. Alles in allem auch beim Auschecken chaotisch. Hatte bei Expedia gebucht und bezahlt und bekam eine „offene“ Rechnung über den Aufenthalt in die Hand gedrückt. Man muss aufpassen! Es war nur noch die Kurtaxe zu zahlen.

Wir haben im Juli auf dem Rückweg von unserem Kroatien-Urlaub nach Deutschland eine Nacht im Hotel Unterwirt verbracht. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind und hatten ein geräumiges Vierbettzimmer inklusive Frühstück. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und für unsere Zwischenübernachtung perfekt geeignet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet, bei dem für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war. Am Abend haben wir den schönen Biergarten genossen. Die leckeren, typisch bayerischen Gerichte mit regionalem Charakter haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt und waren der perfekte Abschluss nach der langen Rückfahrt. Auch die kostenfreien Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind sehr praktisch und ausreichend vorhanden. Wir haben uns im Hotel Unterwirt rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finden wir wirklich sehr gut.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel

Wir hatten ein schönes, neuwertiges Zimmer. Besonders gut haben uns die bequemen Matratzen gefallen. Auch das Bad war einwandfrei sauber mit einer geräumigen Dusche. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es wurde bis zum Ende der Frühstückszeit nachgelegt. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

bayrisches Hotel+gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Typisch oberbayrische Gastwirtschaft. Das Zimmer selbst, war sehr sauber. Das Bad extrem eng, gefühlte 2 qm, auch die Dusche, sehr beengend. Frühstücks-Buffet mit reichlich Auswahl an frischen Speisen, also nichts Abgepacktes. Sehr gut! Die Dame am Empfang, beim Einchecken, war sehr langsam u. auf meine Frage, ob es am Hotel eine E-Ladestation hat, fragte sie nach, ob ich eine Lademöglichkeit für`s mobil-Telefon damit meine. Da hatte ich dann keine weitere Frage.... Negativ: der Eingang zum Hotel, also draussen, wurde stetig von Rauchern belagert, was sehr unangenehm war. Jedesmal musste man, ungewollt, durch fette Nikotin-Schwaden schreiten. Ein absolutes No-Go. Meine Empfehlung: Den Raucherbereich links oder rechts vom Hotel-Eingang weg zu verlagern! Insgesamt Fazit: gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
