"Staff was friendly, parking was easy. One of the bedsheets had a couple of faded stains. There was not hot water in shower or sink. Since I was in late and out early, I didn’t have time to call front desk and wait for a fix. "
"Well, to shorten it up, the staff were not friendly. We asked to change our room to downstairs because for some reason if you only have two floors, you don’t get an elevator at your hotel property. It should be stated on the website that there’s no elevator because we’re staying at a hotel and it’s implied that you have luggage and things that you’re bringing. Also, if you don’t have a functioning Jacuzzi, it should be also posted on the website or at the actual hotel or even your staff can notify. The only thing that was posted was our properties being renovated nothing about the Jacuzzi. also, there should be an electrician making sure all the rooms are up-to-date with outlets not loose, phones working with unbroken cables/plugged in and the television that has volume working not forcing the guest to go to the front desk and physically fix the volume themselves. "
"We checked in late with my friend; the staff was friendly and helpful. However…
The room was extremely hot and stuffy—the AC didn’t help even after an hour. I opened the window, and around midnight, two workers were trimming bushes below on the 1st floor level. They apparently disturbed a hummingbird’s nest, and the bird flew into our room, circling for more than an hour before we managed to get it out. Despite being exhausted, we couldn’t fall asleep for a long time. I messaged the lobby about a late check-out and got no reply (which was expected, but always worked before), and we eventually drifted off.
At 7:30 AM, construction started on the roof—hammering, dropping tools, loud footsteps. Even with earplugs and blankets over our heads, it was nearly impossible to sleep.
At 11:25 AM, we were woken by loud knocking and told our late check-out had “expired,” and we had to leave immediately (standard check-out is 11:00 AM).
When I asked about the policy and complained about the noise while returning the keys, a different staff member responded rudely, saying late check-out isn’t allowed at all—even for a fee—and ignored the rest of our concerns.
The hotel itself seemed good and well-located near the Palm Springs attractions we wanted to visit. But the experience left us unable to rest, and we won’t forget that night."
