"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. It's out of the way enough that we felt like we were in our own space, but not too far away from Akureyri. "Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! "This is a modern and lovely place. Don’t be alarmed that hot tub is empty when you arrive. A switch turns it on and it fills up in about an hour. It’s lovely. No sulfur smell.
