"Nice little place. The shared bathroom was musty in the showers. Lake front is across lava field and highway. Really cute huts, clean linens, kettle in room and heat. It was convenient location for our ring road trip! "

"Very steep unpaved access. If you have fear of heights this may cause problems getting in and out. Didn’t have Body wash on arrival. Day 2 we found they have entered and put body wash in which is a violation of privacy — entering room without permission when we were out!!! Could not take shower first night. Didn’t deliver body wash until day 2. View is great. "

Nous avons pu facilement parcourir la peninsule jusqu'à siglufjordur mais aussi jusqu'à Husavik. Godafoss n'est pas tres loin non plus. Moins de 10 minutes en voiture jusqu'au suoerbe forest lagoon... et Akureyri est une ville tres attachante. Un immense merci à Sandra et Jonas pour leur aide, gentillesse et professionnalisme."

"This was a stay! The staff were very nice and helpful, the food was good, and the other guests were nice too. There were several bathrooms for the rooms with shared baths, so we didn’t have any issues sharing. Everything was clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable too and we slept well. One thing that is important to note: this is 14 miles down a gravel road with some bumps, so just be prepared for that. Our rental car (2WD) did fine, but it took a little longer to arrive than we expected."

"Very pleased with our one night stay. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean. They had dinner buffet for 85k ISK. Breakfast was included and for a change we could get some scramble eggs and Bacon's. Sauna and hot tub included and open till 11 pm. Also, a new spa called Forest Lagoon has opened nearby which is a nice retreat with their large poops, sauna, and cold plunge. The hotel is a scenic 10 minute drive from downtown. All in all, highly recommended!"
