"We went in January for some winter sun, we were very much looking forward to our first family holiday with our 10 month old, relaxing by the pool. It was really disappointing and upsetting that we could not use the pool due to the extremely cold water temperature, I feel this is something that should be made clear to potential customers when they are booking, especially regarding the temperature of the baby pool. "This is a lovely hotel, quiet and relaxing with great staff and a lovely freshwater pool area. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, tidy and the bathroom had a good spacious shower and twin sinks. The hotel is in an excellent location, a 15 minute stroll to the old town where all the best restaurants are located and 5 minutes to the supermarket. We had a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxed holiday in a great hotel in a great location. "

"We had a wonderful 9 days at Barcelo Playa Blanca. It was a wonderful hotel with amazing facilities, incredibly clean and rooms were fantastic. This was pretty much the first time we’ve done a half board basis and the value was amazing, saving us a fortune for a family of 6 where we normally spend upwards of £150 a day on food and eating out. So overall a fantastic trip, a superb hotel with great staff, service and amazing facilities. "
