El Plantio Golf Resort

"El Plantio is a great stay for a family vacation and golf. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pools are great and very well maintained. The restaurant offers good food, allthough the variety of the menu is lacking if you plan for a longer stay. Thankfully though, Alicante is close by, around 15 Minnute drive or taxi ride (ca. 20 Euros one way trip). All in all, if you are looking for a combined family and golf vacation for a reasonable price. I can with good conscience recomend El Plantio. Tip -The owner of El Plantio has recently also bought the Alicante Golf Course, and as a guest at El Plantio, one might get reduced Greenfee there too."

"Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue excelente, pero lo que realmente queremos destacar es la calidad humana de su equipo. Durante el fin de semana del 13 de agosto nos ocurrió un imprevisto: el agua del aire acondicionado cayó dentro de nuestra maleta y empapó toda nuestra ropa. Ese mismo día teníamos que regresar a Londres, así que la situación era bastante complicada. En cuanto informamos a recepción, todo el equipo se puso en marcha para ayudarnos. No solo mostraron una gran preocupación por lo ocurrido, sino que hicieron todo lo posible para solucionarlo. Gracias a ellos pudimos volver a casa con toda nuestra ropa limpia y completamente seca. Queremos agradecer especialmente a la gobernanta, que demostró una enorme profesionalidad, empatía y dedicación, asegurándose en todo momento de que todo quedara resuelto. En un mundo en el que a veces los clientes somos solo un número, este hotel demuestra que todavía hay lugares donde las personas realmente importan. Aquí no solo se preocupan por sus clientes, sino que también se ocupan de ellos. Ese trato cercano y humano marca la diferencia. ¡Muchísimas gracias a todo el equipo! Sin duda, volveremos y recomendaremos este hotel."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough. We stayed in Room 301, which was really spacious, an extremely comfortable bed and a well-laid-out bathroom. The shower was really powerful, and the room had everything we needed, including a hairdryer. We loved the large TV with channels from different countries. As we were travelling from the UK, being able to watch British TV in the evening was great. The hotel is around a 25 minute walk from the beach, but we really enjoyed the walk. There were so many streets to explore and plenty to see along the way, and Alicante was very easy to get around on foot. The lockers in reception were also brilliant. We arrived before check-in and were able to securely store our belongings while we went out exploring. There’s also a coffee shop on-site, which was a lovely added convenience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. After checking out, I realised I’d left my phone in the room and returned about ten minutes later. They were so helpful in getting it back to me! The cleaners were also so happy and greeted us each time we saw them. Such lovely staff there. Excellent value for money and we would absolutely stay here again. A brilliant hotel with fantastic staff and facilities!"

"Fantastic hotel. Been upgraded since I stayed there last and honestly had a great stay. Staff are fantastic and helpful. Amenities, everything you could want. Bars and restaurants nearby so choice is not a problem if you want a change from the great food served at La Laguna."

"We had a lovely stay! The room was clean and comfortable, with great amenities. The staff were very helpful, warm, and welcoming. We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out and come back later to collect it, which made things so convenient. There are also free hot drinks and juice available 24/7 at reception, plus plenty of free street parking nearby. We felt safe and well looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommended!"
