"Excellent base for exploring the area, can’t fault it really, the pool is lovely and very clean. The only thing we didn’t enjoy particularly were the breakfasts, just not executed well enough and not enough choice, so I wouldn’t bother with the food if I came again, I would just have a room ."

"Room was modern and had good facilites, was a comfortable stay. Hotel was close to everything needed, supermarkets, resturants, town, beach, transportation. Staff were great. Only down side was room got very hot but there is a fan provided."

"The views from property are spectacular during a day and night. Pool facilities were really good with the lifeguard. The pool opening hours could be longer especially in the season. Rooms would require some TLC as property is slightly dated, like kitchens but in general very enjoyable stay with my family and wife. "Great stay, staff were polite and very helpful/accomodating. The location was perfect, in walking distance of supermarkets, places to eat out, the beach and transport. Very close to the local town also, the area felt safe. Only advise is to book parking in advance if you want it by the hotel and noise travels but is managable. Would defo stay again if I were to return to the area!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights and very much enjoyed my stay.
I travelled by public transport from the airport to the hotel. The journey was two buses but the service was excellent and the drivers were helpful.
The hotel itself was welcoming and clean and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room was clean and as per previous reviews there is not a kettle in the room but asked for that at reception when i checked in, you donhave to supply your own coffee/tea.
Breakfast buffet suited me and all but once had lunch and dinner at the hotel, i would highly recommend the Beef Medallion. Getting a sunbed was no problem and a great view from the rooftop terrace.
There are shops nearby and a choice of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed a daily walk down to the beach.
My only criticism, but this was personal to me, i found the mattress too hard.
Will definitely stay here again and would recommend."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Sun Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tenerife. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which really made a difference to our experience.
Our apartment was lovely and perfect for the four of us (two couples). The air conditioning was excellent, and the bathroom was impressively huge and spacious. The pool area was well maintained and provided a lovely spot to relax.
A special mention must go to the breakfast buffet - it was incredible and we'd highly recommend adding this to your stay. We got into a great routine of eating breakfast at the hotel each morning, having lunch out while exploring, then cooking in the apartment each evening (we used the room service menu one evening, which was great value and delicious).
The location proved to be a great base for exploring the island with a hire car, and the local area itself was fantastic.
The only downside was that the kitchen felt quite dated with some very old appliances. We encountered a leaky kettle and a few items that were difficult to use or broken, but we managed to work around these issues.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The combination of excellent staff, comfortable accommodation, fantastic breakfast, and great location made for a memorable stay."

"What a wonderful hotel and the all inclusive was excellent. We enjoyed having lunch at Breeze overlooking the ocean - you could even have steak! Breakfast and dinner buffets were brilliant as well. The all inclusive included all drinks and the cocktails were freshly made. The wine was from a bottle and not on tap and very good quality. I recommend the pina coladas and Aperol
Spritz! The pool area was well maintained - we could always find a sunbed. We hired a car which was quicker and cheaper than a transfer from the airport and have us the opportunity to drive up Mt Teide and to the Masca Gorge - both of which were stunning views and the landscape is beautiful. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away! Thank you Barcelo Santiago!"
