"It was okay. However we had an issue when booking the taxi for Dahab. The taxi driver told us to withdraw cash at the ATM, which we did but then refused to take us to Dahab and told us to pay at reception. Reception said they wont accept the egyption currency as they only accept euros which makes no sense. The taxi driver then argues with reception after overcharging us to take us to Dahab because he simply did not want to in arabic. Instead of apologising for the inconvenience, the reception staff started being rude to me and blaming me that its my fault I wanted to go to Dahab, that I wont get in as I need visa. I found this so rude and disrespectful. Bare in mind, I asked them for change as I was going to pay the taxi driver over by 20 EGP and the reception staff said “that’s nothing.” It was unbelievable. Instead of offering customer service and apologising, i was being blamed and honestly being scammed by the taxi service. I dont reccomend this place and I wont be staying here again, I’m unsure why it is 5*s when it’s really not, it’s 3* at most. Even housekeeping was atrocious, there was no dental kits in the bathroom and we waited for 90 minutes for it to be delivered. "

"The hotel was old and dated. I booked a premium room based on the picture which showed an unobstructed full sea view. When I arrived and opened the door to my assigned room I saw a roof top with solar water heaters. I asked the manager to change my room, which he did, but I should have received the room that I paid for from the beginning. The food was average at best. The furniture in the room was old and dated. However, the dive shop was excellent. Great instructor and you could dive the reef right from the dock."

"Very clean, professionally staffed and managed, exceptional property location and food was a good value. Would give it a 10 star stay, except for the constant cigarette smoke at every part of the property…lobby, restaurants, drifting into rooms, at the beach. Not sure why people are still allowed to smoke anywhere in public, but in Egypt, this is still acceptable 😳"

"Yes the room needs work, not very clean, dusty, hair on sheets, and floors just feel sandy in room. The shower was rusted and clogging. Just the room was bad the rest of the hotel was great. "

"Disappointing stay despite strong reviews I chose this hotel based on the high ratings and positive feedback compared to other properties in the area, but my overall experience was poor—mainly due to lack of communication, an unhelpful check-in experience, and the condition of the room. My issues started before arrival. I received an automated message asking for my check-in time and whether I needed an airport pickup. I replied with the requested information and asked them to arrange airport pickup. After waiting 24 hours with no response, I sent a follow-up message—still no reply. When I arrived at the airport, I tried calling the hotel multiple times and no one answered. I ended up giving up and taking a taxi. At check-in, I asked about early check-in (as mentioned in my earlier communication), but they had no rooms available. When I asked why no one responded to my messages, the front desk agent’s response was: “we get too many questions.” That was not a reassuring or professional answer. I then had to wait about an hour before getting access to my room. Unfortunately, the room itself was the biggest disappointment. It felt very outdated and not well maintained. The lights were flickering, and the bathroom had visible mold and rust. I understand many guests spend most of their time outside, but basic cleanliness and upkeep should still meet a minimum standard. "
