"Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. "This property is overpriced. For over $200 a night, I would expect a room that does not smell of urine and for my mini fridge to work. I called the front desk several times asking for the mini fridge to be repaired to no avail. "Seems like a little family run hotel from what I could tell. The original building is a beautiful old building about 3-4 stories. In the back they have more modern apartments style rooms (where we stayed). The breakfast option is a must. They serve by individual orders so it does take some time but it’s pretty close to what your mother would serve you and very tasty. "
