"We had an incredible stay here for two nights. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend visiting the spa it was one of the best massages of my life! The staff was also incredibly helpful when we had our cruise cancel on us last minute, they got us back on track and kept us calm.
The breakfast buffet was also great considering it comes with the price of the room.
Overall 10/10 experience !"
"The priority was for the big families, so if you're going on your own I'd not recommend this place for you
The internet wasn't available all the time, some of the staff were so good tbh
The place is recommended only for Egyptian families "

"We stayed at the Mövenpick Aswan for 3 nights in two king rooms (#1111 & #1101). Both faced west, and unfortunately, the AC in those rooms could not cool below 21°C. The hotel reception team was very accommodating and sent technicians several times to try to resolve the issue. By the third night, we accepted their suggestion to move rooms. While it was frustrating to spend part of our vacation packing and unpacking again, the east-facing room (#1120) and another west-facing larger room cooled properly. I especially enjoyed the east-facing suite on our last might as it offered lovely city views without the intensity of the hot west Summer sun.
The property itself is beautiful, a peaceful oasis with Dubai sailing by. The free shuttle boat across the Nile is convenient, and staying on Elephantine Island feels special. The pool area was great for relaxing, the spacious lobby has plenty of seating, and the outside views are truly fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice buffet, including eggs made to order. The spa is located near the pool level and makes for a nice retreat.
A tip for future guests: take advantage of the laundry and dry-cleaning service. A full bag returned the same day, pressed and folded, cost only $12 USD – an incredible value.
We also splurged on dinner at the panoramic restaurant located on the 13th floor of the high-rise building. The meal included steak, filet, fish, wine, and beer – all served with attentive care by Mahmoud. "
"Balcony overlooked Nile. Best coffee I had in 5 weeks in Egypt, thank you Zoza. Easy walk to market, lots of tour options. Must see Nubian village, all within easy reach from hotel."
"Great location and amazing room with great and helpful staff. It can be a little difficult to find the entrance door but everybody on the island is very helpful. The little ferry runs every 10mins for only 10£.
Great stay. We would come back! "
"The hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was really on the ball. They arranged a car for us to Luxor, with a couple of stops along the way (I recommend this). The only drawback for some people may be that it's adjacent to the bazaar. We found it charming to sit on the balcony and observe the hustle and bustle of the bazaar. Also, it closed at a reasonable hour. Still, if you want peace and quiet at 8am, you may want to at least ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. "
"Unfortunately it was expensive for what it was. No breakfast was available.
No staff around in the morning.
The room size is good and the bed was comfortable. The staff are friendly. "
