"Check in at night was easy. Hotel room was clean and had HVAC. Water pressure was good. Hotel also had a water cooler on the first floor, which had cups and temperature selectable water available to drink.
Check out by talking to someone in the morning was difficult due to a low staff count, but the hotel allowed you to check out by just leaving your key in a box.
Bus stop right next to the hotel allowed you to take a bus and then the train to get back to Chicago easily."
"We were in Room 513 for 2 nights. The stench in the room was awful both nights. It made it very difficult to sleep. We spoke with the front desk and were told maintenance would deodorize the room. Nothing was ever done."
"The walk in shower was for people 4.5 feet tall and the hose was spitting water everywhere at where it joined the supply. Some of the other guests thought it was a good idea to slam doors all night, no one stopped them even though the front desk was near by. The breakfast had a wonderful selection, but I'm pretty sure the powdered eggs, biscuits and sausage patties were Korean War surplus. Other than that, large room, very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, very clean."
"The flooring in the room was not good, the sink had a crack but water flow was fine. Spring bed not a great comfort but adjustable if for a night. Front staff was polite. Breakfast was decent"
