"Located not far from the rail station, an old fashioned hotel ,very pleasant staff ,really comfortable bed ,tea ,coffee in the room ,excellent choice for breakfast ,and dinner menu ,free parking,I would stay here again"

Elgin is an attractive town with the famous Johnson’s knitwear and with some interesting history. The people were friendly and helpful. There are areas which look poor and run down and not a lot of choice on restaurants etc.
