Hotels with Restaurants in Ella

Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t...

This small boutique hotel is one of the original rest houses of Ella, and has a prime location overlooking the gap and Ella Rock, making the perfect backdrop for stunning sunrises. Beautiful birds and other wildlife occasionally make appearances on the large terrace surrounded by a garden. The location is fantastic; walkable to the town but far enough away from the noise. The breakfast and service were fantastic. Note, there is no spa or pool at this hotel. Our room (108) was spacious and...

We stayed at the On Rock for only one night (sadly) as we completed a 7-day whirlwind tour of Sri Lanka. Mr Rohan greeted us with enthusiasm and kindness. He clearly loves his work and makes guests feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean and had a great view of the sunrise over Mini Adam's Peak. Through, to be honest, the view from the top of the hotel was even better! Breakfast was delicious and our entire experience was very positive. We'd highly recommend anyone who's in Ella...

The access to the property is difficult to find. The stay was very nice. Good food and service by staff.

A simple lodge with awesome views! I was gently greeted by the rising sun. No Aircon but temperatures were between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius in the early morning. You need to be moderately fit to climb down 2 flights of stairs to reach your room. The road up is very tight and big cats may have difficulties going uphill in the tight environment. Hotel manager Priyanatha helped me book a very punctual Tuk Tuk that fetched me up and down. Thank you!
