"The room: slightly aged furniture; tub worn. But very clean especially the linen. The Staff: the nicest most helpful people. 5 Star for them. Breakfast: clean area; plenty of tables; good selection. Price: Excellent Location: quick short walk to Vanderbilt University which was the reason for our visit. You don’t need a car. $2 bus ride to downtown where you can tour the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Arena and most importantly- listen to great live country music local bands performing at the many bars. "

"I experienced great first-person service at my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville. I checked in on Saturday, Feb 7, but the internet at the front desk was down. Instead of making me wait hours for the internet to be restored, a woman at the front desk walked me to their sister property behind the hotel, where I checked in. She then walked me to my room to make sure my key card worked. It could have been a miserable experience having no internet but the staff made sure I was able to check into my room. The breakfast each morning was terrific as well. "
