"Convenient location to Acadia (Gateway Center just down the road) and Ellsworth in general. Old but clean, with water stains--like visiting an old aunt's house. Pool is not suitable for kids--gets super deep super quickly. Breakfast nicely done."

"Clean room spacious had all we needed for family of 4 adults, we chose room w/2 king beds with a view of water from up top. Very pretty. Quiet and peaceful. Altho decor is outdated it is very quaint and has a lot to offer guests. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent offering a beautiful view. The piano player offered in the lounge of hotel nightly was amazing. Would highly recommend!"

"Fantastic breakfast. Healthy choices. Coffee 24 hours a day. Tesla Superchargers across the street. We could not get a room in Bar Harbor, however the hotel was close enough. The Union River Lobster Pot is about a mile away. In order to enjoy and beat the crowds in Acadia, wake up early."
