"Everything was very clean. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Although the hotel itself is amazing, the amount of teenagers running around and through the halls was quite annoying."
"Convenient hotel to stay in if you have a large family - triple queen rooms are not always easy to find! Desk staff were pleasant and helpful on check-in, we were able to park our large SUV + 20 ft trailer on the road directly out front of the hotel. Room was clean and neat - yes, outdated decor, but I don't go for looks when I'm only booking one night on a cross-country trip. The room did smell a bit musty, but nothing I wouldn't expect in an older building (ie. not related to water damage, etc.).
The only real negative was the extremely vigilant employee who was managing the breakfast in the morning - while I am sure her job is not easy, and she certainly kept items stocked and the space clean, she was VERY aggressive with our 10 year old son when she didn't think he was making the waffles quickly enough and expressed her displeasure by stepping right into his space/backing him up against the wall (she was very tall), taking over making his waffles because "you need to get it cooking quickly or it will stick to the pan and I'll have to clean it up." To be clear, our children have been using these machines for years and were simply taking a minute to look for the non-stick spray. My 15 year old son tried to get the woman to calm down, but she only stopped when I stepped in and told her that she needed to stop. My son was anxious for the rest of breakfast, stating, "that's not how I expected breakfast to go." Also, she didn't treat any of the slower adults this way."
