"The property is clean and well maintained given that it is an old building with a fun past! The hotel is located in the business part of downtown so it was quieter that other areas. The hotel staff was attentive. Mike is an EXCELLENT bartender and gave great recommendations for dinner options that were within walking distance.
We had a King Suite which I thought would be great since our teenage daughter was staying with us for a couple of the nights and could sleep on the sofa bed. However, there was no door dividing the two spaces which was a little odd. If this matters, ask the front desk for a Suite with a door.
There is a great exercise room if you lift weights or want cardio equipment. I wish there had been weights that were less than five pounds and yoga mats so I could have taken advantage of the space."
