"I rented a suite. It was relatively very expensive so I expect more. There was orange seeds on the floor and a piece of orange peel and some M&M shell pieces on the floor when I arrived. The staff were just fair when I asked were certain things wise. It was almost like I expected me to know use terms that only the people that worked there would know. They did credit me that urban experience fee which I totally think is BS and doesn’t really help you at all because of the problems so at least they did something. They said they would offer me an another stay with a couple of free nights to make up for it. I’m waiting on that. They seem to be a smell when I open the door almost like cigarette smoke, but my wife says she doesn’t think it was, but there was definitely something strange. I’m not that picky but when I pay a lot, I expect a lot, but I have found is high-end hotels don’t deliver as well as medium of the road hotels. Maybe they have their customer base and they don’t really care but the medium the road hotels seem to still have a need to grow their business and go above and beyond whereas this hotel didn’t. I’ve stayed here before and was well pleased. This was a huge disappointment a year and a half later."

"I just stayed there for a bed to use for the night. Staff were friendly but I received the wrong information from one staff who assured me that there were USB-c outlets in the room, there were not. When I showered at night, the drainage system was so bad that I was ankle deep in drain water and the next morning…all the drain water was still there. It’s probably not maintenance’s fault because piping can be backed up for various reasons over time, but I opted against using the shower in the morning. Bed was comfortable and staff were pleasant."

"Unfortunately, the service was completely unacceptable. On our first day, I had to call customer service three separate times just to get our room cleaned. They didn’t show up until 7:30 PM. When you’ve been walking all day, the last thing you want is to return to a dirty room when you just want to collapse and rest. To make matters worse, the exact same thing happened the next day. While the front desk tried to fix it by offering a free breakfast voucher, a voucher doesn't make up for losing the peace of mind of coming back to a clean, restful room after a long day out. On top of the terrible housekeeping, the hotel hits you with a mandatory $25 per day "destination fee" that you cannot opt-out of. It supposedly covers the pool, internet, pickleball, and an $18 laundry credit, but it is entirely "use it or lose it." Forcing families to pay for amenities they might not even have time to use just feels like a greedy cash grab. Great location, but the management and service are severely lacking. I would not stay here again."

"The room was clean and large. We liked that it had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker and had a table and coach area separate from the bedroom section. The complimentary breakfast was really good with an option to create your own omlete. The location was just by the magnificent mile and a block away from the red line. As with any hotel in the big city parking wasn’t free but a closed parking lot was nearby. The closed pool was an extra addition, which my son enjoyed."

"we ended up having to pay $90 on top of what we paid on this app for no reason, our hotel was fully paid yet they charged us this without explaining what it was for, I didn’t want to ask because I was already stressed about not being able to check in early and being late to our activities for the day."
