The outside of the hotel looks beautiful and the location and gate makes it feel secure. People were helpful and responsive. Our WiFi went off twice, which was frustrating. It's scruffy, dirty and very busy, but it still has a charm, with it's dilapidated old colonial houses, the magnificent castle and the teeming port. It's fascinating to watch the fishing boats going out in the evening then come back in the morning.
