"The check-in person was quite amiable and helpful! :-)
The facility was quite acceptable for it's apparent age.
The only two noteworthy issues (to us) were:
1- While we love a good (COLD) AC unit, this one was obsessively loud - even on it lowest setting.
2- The window coverings in the room did a good job of blocking out an abundance exterior light. However; the bathroom window had nothing to block the convenience store next door - leaving the door slightly open at all allowed too much light in the bedroom area."
"One of the very best B&Bs at which we have ever had the pleasure to lodge! We were there for three days and nights at the end of July/ beginning of August, 2026. The 11,000 sq. ft. home is a late 1800s architectural masterpiece that has been beautifully preserved and maintained. Kelly and his wife Rochelle work seriously to preserve the history and legacy of the home and grounds. The setting is beautiful. The cleanliness is amazing, especially considering the size of the facility requiring daily upkeep. Kelly is proud of the home and presents a fascinating historical perspective and tour of it when guests arrive. Kelly is also an excellent chef and oversees a delicious breakfast every morning, for which guests choose the previous evening from a menu of options and seating times. If you are staying for any length of time in this part of central Michigan, this is THE No. 1 choice for lodging. One of the most memorable experiences of our lengthy vacation trip from our home in Arizona and return."
Courtyard Mt. Pleasant at Central Michigan University
10/10 Excellent
"Even though the workout room wasn’t 24 hours the Hotel is AMAZING loved everything about it including location with lots of shopping and views. Property was well maintained. Beautiful spacious rooms 10 across the board"
"If you are looking for a unique experience in a beautiful older home, this is the place in Mt. Pleasant. Very quiet when we stayed. We will definitely be back vs. staying in a hotel. Service was very friendly checking in and out."
