"Room was missing a lot of things and breakfast selection was lack luster compared to the last best western plus I stayed at..there was nothing plus about this one.."

"No jets in the "whirlpool" - no towels at the pool - did not have the room I reserved - dirty towel laying on fifth floor hallway for our entire stay - no shampoo in the room. Just an unloved property. "

"No toothpast, no soap,no sugar,no creamer,no dishes,one employee a block away in the cold rain. This ways first time out of 3 that the cons starting to add up.still is a nice room im going stick it out and see if improve service to match."

"The room was clean except there was water all in the coffee tray thing. It obviously had leaked out and no one cleaned around it or refilled it because they would have seen all the water."

"Room was clean with the exception of stains in the bath tub and a couple stains on the bedding. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, OJ and coffee. Staff was amazingly helpful and everyone we came into contact with was very friendly!"

"Sonesta sold our room after I reserved and confirmed our room earlier that day. I told them exactly what time we would arrive, and they assured me all was good to go. When I arrived, rude man on phone wouldn’t open door and talked to me through phone (didn’t even see a face) and said manager quit, and when I asked name of person on phone he hung up on me, wouldn’t even open the door for me (even though I called back asking to talk to him about options) and called not one but THREE POLICE squad cars saying I threatened him. What I said was my husband was going to come talk on the phone because I was confused. The Olmstead Police were fantastic realizing we were just normal people confused by driving 7 hours and not having a place to stay late at night. Police pointed out a better hotel for us to stay next door. That hotel next store is top notch, took our honor points number, laughed at the cops being called, and booked us into a nice room immediately paying less than I was at Sonesta. We were not the only one this happened to, as a guest from new hotel told us. Expedia ensured a refund and apologized for our experience. No apology from Sonesta for calling 3 police squads on me. I can laugh at it now, but this goes down in books as official worst hotel experience. "
