"The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. While the bathrooms were nice, they just weren't in the room we were staying in due to being sold out of the rooms with. The restaurant, Oliver's, was quite lovely and attached to the house part of the property with the bar. Food was outstanding, being made with all seasonal vegetables and local proteins from farms in the area."

"My friend and I enjoyed staying at the bunk house a lot. We didn't spend a lot of time in town or around the property but it was very charming! Everyone was really friendly and helpful with any question we had. We will definitely be interested in coming back to stay again."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. Would love to book again! We loved having coffee by the creek every morning and the views from our living room window. We stayed in the 2 bdrm bc it was the only option available but it was nice to have the extra space. Dinner and the little stove in the living room were so great. Very close drive to farm stands and some of our favorite places for a cocktail"
