"The staff and setting was exceptional at this absolute gem of an option in Kyoto .
A short walk to a great train stop , Gion, and everything the city is known for . Every detail , from the rooftop bar , to rooms , to amentirs, onsens snd staff is exquisite.
Phenomenal value for this quality . All the other guests raved also . "
"I have stayed in many very good hotels but this was possibly the best Hotel that I have stayed in, although the outside of the building is rather bland compared to say the Mandarin Oriental, or the Old Cataract in Aswan, the inside is perfect along with wonderful staff and service, plus for a Japanese hotel the rooms are very big, highly recommended."
"It’s a business type hotel but my room was perfect just for one person and one night. I stayed here for the proximity to Ghibli Park. The amenities were amazing! They even have an onsen but unfortunately wasn’t able to use it due to a large tattoo I have but that’s okay. Staff was also friendly and did speak English. "
"Cozy and Convenient Stay!
I recently stayed in a single room and while it was small, it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The fridge, microwave, and hot water kettle were incredibly convenient and made it easy to have snacks or simple meals in the room. The hotel is just a 7-minute walk to the station, which made getting around super easy. Perfect for a solo traveler looking for a clean, well-equipped, and budget-friendly option!
