"Room looks superb, new, with a beautiful view to Penafiel Castle. Bathroom very clean with a nice bathtub. Hotel very close to Penafiel city center. Area very safe and with parking space to park the car. Staff like Danny very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very convenient with nice selection.

"Superb service from beginning to end. Really nice and busy bar. Very reasonably priced dinner, excellent food. Outstanding breakfast. Strong WiFi though you had to change server depending on where you were. Interesting village with architectural highlights."
"This was a fantastic hotel right on the river! The rooms were generous, comfortable and very quiet. We love the contemporary feel of the hotel, the architecture was stunning-particularly the lounge area behind the bar that had a huge window overlooking the river with this fabulous modern wood stove. The espresso and cappuccino were some of the best we’ve had in Spain and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!"
"Wonderful hotel, so pretty and friendly.
Breakfast was great and included in stay.
Wine was amazing and not expensive.
Was travelling back to Bilboa from Murcia and was close to turning so very handy but you couldn’t see or hear road.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a while. "
