"Check-in was friendly and prompt. A bit of a wait because the room was not quite ready, but that gave us an opportunity to explore. There is an amazing little swimming pool and hot tub. Lots of bbqs free for the using. Gardening was first rate. The suites are amazing. Separate king bed from the living and eating area. A fully equipped kitchen for those longer stays and a very comfortable living area. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Lots of laying out room. The bathroom had a large soaker tub with very nice matching faucets and a rainfall shower head. Now to be fair parts of our room was starting to show wear and tear, but the cleanliness of the suite overcame those minor wear areas. Unfortunately the in room coffee Kitchen was not working but one quick phone call (10 at night), and a new working one was brought to our suite within just a few minutes. The view from the balcony is to die for. Swan lake lies below across the highway a the mountains in the distance with orchards a rolling vistas. The downside is the traffic noise, but it fades quickly. One real downside was that the smoking area was directly below our balcony, and when 3 or 4 folks were smoking we could not go outside. Perhaps relocating the smoking area to a spot away from the balconies could be considered? The castle is but five minutes from town and for what one gets for their money a real bargain. We will not hesitate to visit here again, perhaps for a longer vacation stay."
