"I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! I arrived early evening for my 1 night stay- I had booked a king suite, which I had stayed in before and enjoyed it. I was greeted by a friendly staff member who checked me in. To my delight and surprise, I was upgraded to the PENTHOUSE suite! I couldn't believe it! The elevator went directly into my suite - I mean can you say posh or what?! The room was spacious and spotless, with soaring ceilings, a nice kitchen, a huge bathroom with a walk in shower, separate tub, separate toilet, and its own large king bedroom. You could head down the stairs directly to the hot tub. I even got a welcome bottle of wine! How fantastic! I can not express how grateful I was to have this upgrade of all upgrades - the Kelowna hotel I had stayed in the weekend before was a total disaster, with extra loud guests, a room that smelled like pee, stale sheets, and several things that were broken in the room. And this is a well known chain hotel where I normally have an excellent stay. I will always recommend The Castle at Swan lake to anyone - you get treated like royalty. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!"

"The room was clean and very nice. The continental breakfast was nice with hot potatoes, eggs and sausages, plus all sorts of other food and great coffee. The service overall was excellent and we would stay here again for sure!"

"Staff is just amazing!! Front desk manager if 10 stars. We stayed 2 nights and at times felt we were in a cozy ski chalet. Some folks may write not so nice reviews of this hotel.. however… it is not the Ritz Carlton… if that’s what you are expecting stay somewhere else. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Would have liked a microwave but it was just down the hall. The breakfast was basic .. but included!!! Coffee, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. If you NEED more than that… McDonalds is right across the street. This cozy “inn” is in a great location in salmon arm. For the price.. you get what you get … we will definitely stay here again if we need to be in Salmon Arm!! Again.. cannot say enough about the front desk manager!! "
