"Overall, my experience at the hotel was great. However, I did have an ongoing issue with one particular staff member who operated the transportation cart. I used the cart service multiple times during my stay, and unfortunately, one of the mid-day shift workers was consistently rude and unhelpful. On several occasions, he made me wait around 20 minutes, and at one point refused to take me back to the hotel, telling me to just walk instead. This was especially disappointing given that I had always tipped the cart drivers generously and expected the amenities that came with the hotel stay to be honored. It seemed like he simply didn’t want to be bothered, which was frustrating and made parts of the stay less enjoyable. I hope management can address this, as it really stood out against the otherwise great service I received from the rest of the team"

"I found it shocking that the beach was dirty in the morning. It was like a night club was there with all the bottles and plastic. City crew was on the beach at 6am. When I left at around 9am to go back to my room at opal, the beach was clean. This is not the resorts job because at least 50 more resorts, along with bars, restaurants, and stores share that coast in the gulf. And it is at least a thousand people on the beach daily. Maybe city crew should come at night or earlier than 6 AM. I hope they figure something out. But all in all my trip, the beach and activities was a 9.9999 out of 10. Opal I am sure share responsibility, but so do the other businesses and resorts. We should all do our parts. "
