The Insignia Hotel, Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
8/10 Good
"Place was very nice and clean. Only downside is parking and hauling your luggage quite a distance from the entrance. Also you have to carry the luggage up stairs to get to the lobby. Bit of a hassle but otherwise great hotel."
"As someone in town for a funeral it was amazing to have somewhere to get breakfast every morning, and to unwind in the evening. We almost always had the pool to ourselves. Additionally when there were sports teams also staying there they limited access to prevent rowdyness which was amazing, especially since we had our toddler with us. It was close to our family which was a must. They also had a snack shop and the ability to have a greener stay (not have your room turned over), both of which we partook in. Would highly recommend."
"Rented a 1 bedroom suite, very spacious and clean. Loved that the window shades are completely blacked out, it made for an excellent sleep! We were a little concerned at the close proximity to the elevator but our sleep was not disrupted at all!
Staff was friendly and accommodating..
We would definitely stay here again!!"
"I booked for my mom as were relocating her down, the owners are lovely and you can see where they are doing renovations, I do believe the other rooms are renovated to what the photos look but the room we ended up with was at the starting stages of renovations, patchwork on the walls and minor aesthetic issues, but for the price and the care of my mom's wellbeing from the staff I can't really complain about the room not being like the photo. Would book again"
