"This is a historic hotel. The doors don’t always close properly, you will hear the train, and the town shuts down at 8pm. Those are the negatives. Now the positives. The place is immaculately clean. The staff is possibly the friendliest in Canada. The price is awesome. The bed was firm (good for me!). I will 100% stay here again. Highly recommend. Our dog loved it too."

"This property is an architectural gem. It has recently been sold and the new owners seem quite attentive and pleasant. It’s seen better days. The carpet is as old as God and the place really needs a good hallway clean. The rooms were clean. TVs didn’t have cable or Internet but not a big issue. Shower pressure was fantastic. They don’t make them like than anymore. Lots of soap, etc. we will go back as we go through drayton valley regularly. This hotel caters to crews. They have a lounge that has VLTs so we will definitely stay again. TLDR: for the price id do it again."
