"It was an exceptional experience being that the lodge is in a secluded area and surrounded by nature brings forth a calm atmosphere. The staff members are well trained, very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend the lodge for anyone who is travelling to JHB and looking for somewhere to stay."

"I made plans to arrive a day early for my scheduled safari tour which was gathering to begin our journey at this hotel. I reserved an extra night and was very happy with the hotel facilities. I needed to eat dinner late that first night due to flight delays, and the hotel restaurant stayed open until 10. They were very gracious about me showing up nearly at closing time. I was able to order and eat while they cleaned up. I grabbed a glass of wine at the bar which was also due to close at 10- and took it to my room to unpack. The hotel facilitated a tour of Soweto for me the next day. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, which was slightly difficult to arrange, but I was met at the airport with someone holding a sign with my name. He carried my bag to the car and drove me to the door and helped me in. The hotel is not located in Pretoria proper, but they accommodated guests who wanted to arrange tours. Nice room. Excellent, helpful staff."

"Everything was very nice. The staff were amazing. The food was great. If I had to find something to complain about it would be the building needs some TLC. The phone in the room didn't work, light switch was a little finicky etc."
