I inquired about late check-in because we were driving in from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The front desk associate said they would leave the motel room door unlocked with they key inside. This made us very uncomfortable because it's very unsafe. My mother paid for the room for this reason and asked for a refund but was denied.
When we arrived to the motel room, it was dirty and unclean. There were people hanging outside the rooms and drinking and smoking. The property felt unsafe. We left the property and went somewhere else for the night. I really would like for my mom to get her money back.
