Great stay in Escalante. Room was clean and had everything you would need. There is no staff at the lobby but you can get coffee and tea there or just sit on the sofa while doing your laundry as there are also washing machines and dryers.

It was an inexpensive room for a one night stay near Escalante. It was convenient to hiking. It would be great if there could be more pillows and more blankets to make this stay more comfortable.

Great place to stay in town. Plentiful parking and so easy to walk to the handful of great places to dine and visit. Room was nicely updated and perfectly clean. Spacious bathroom, plenty of clean, white towels and we enjoyed our complimentary coffee outside in the cool desert morning. I would absolutely stay again.

Overall The Prospector was Good+. Close to great eating and shopping places. Convenient for our trips to Bryce Canyon. Quiet. Nice laundry facility. The beds were somewhat hard and were double beds. My wife and I prefer Queen sized beds and a little softer. This is just a personal preference. Others may find the beds more than adequate. The electrical outlet offerings for phones and laptops were not readily convenient. Lighting (floor lamps, bedside lamps were dim). Upgrading to reading style lamps for the bed would be a good upgrade.

Very clean property. Clean and spacious rooms include mini fridge and microwave. High-tech upgrades include large, smart TVs and keyless entry. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Plenty of places to eat nearby, and located in a beautiful area.

Clean room, new furniture and carpet, room looks very good. Spacious room anbd bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. They have pop corn to do in the microwave. There is no staff present at the hotel, not even in front desk, where there is a phone and you must call to get a room code that you will enter in a code keyboard in your room door, to be able to access your room. Guests must call for anything they might need. We found some insects in the room. There is way too much space below the room access door which is open to the parking spaces. We saw snakes right out the bedroom door sunbathing in the parking space. Room walls flood like a waterfall when it rains and water also enters the room underneath the door.

Very clean and spacious, the TV was much larger than it appears in pictures online, it was a Roku device that had live TV or you could sign into your streaming services (and it automatically signs you out when you leave), the bathroom was clean and spacious, complementary coffee and microwave popcorn was provided, parking was easy, no need to worry about keeping track of your room key because every door opens with a 4 digit code, housekeeping was super friendly, pretty town

This is an older motel. It seems to me that they are remodeling it. Our room just had the basics, which is not a complaint. It totally served its purpose-we hiked all day, ate dinner, and just slept there. Beds were comfy. Towels and linens were clean. Room was clean. No complaints. Just know you are getting an older, no frills, but fully functioning, hotel. Location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Didn't actually see any staff during our visit.
