"Really super hotel. Staff amazing esp Ahmed at Beach Bar, Imad at breakfast and our chambermaid Nazah. There is some refurbishment underway but no impact to our stay and it’s good to see the investment. The hotel is ideally located with its own beach area and bar which we used a lot. "

"This was an amazing stay Jamal and his wife go all out to give guests a great experience- nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is huge with a big selection of different items. The pool was an added bonus. The lady who cooks (sorry I don’t recall her name) is friendly and helpful as well as a good cook! It’s a few miles/kilometres out of Essaouira so a car is probably preferable but if you want a fab place to stay that is peaceful, calm and clean then this is the place for you! I will certainly return there if I visit Essaouira again. I just enjoyed chilling out by the pool and popping into Essaouira late afternoon/early evening. If I had one tiny criticism it’s about the coffee- I drink loads every day and if they’d invest in a proper coffee machine that would be an 11/10! However the fantastic Tea Royal more than made up for the lack of coffee machine! Merci Beaucoup. A la prochaine! "

"It was perfect! The riad was in a perfect location, it was in the centre of the medina with everything so close by. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. The breakfast was great and the staff were responsive - Rita was brill! The riad itself was gorgeous, with a lovely rooftop and a great lounge area. We got some great restaurant recommendations from staff too. I definitely will be coming back to this beautiful riad and Essaouira ❤️ "

"I am nearly 70 years old, I find it hard to say it out loud, I have been travelling for 50 years, I have visited maybe 80 different countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is , quite simply, one of the best of them all. Can I try to explain why ? On arrival it is so unassuming; a small entrance from a busy street in the middle of the ancient Medina. A single sign, it would be easy to miss, but inside, it is like Doctor Who’s Tardis: only about 10 bedrooms arranged over four levels; each built around a central courtyard with tables, sunbeds and so on It is immaculately clean and artistically decorated The top floor is quiet, peaceful with a great view over the city. A perfect place to spend two hours with a book on sunny afternoon The breakfast is one of the beds, not just as the food is so imaginative, but because of the friendly service, and the stunning location We LOVED our bedroom: a large comfortable bed, high quality cotton (or was kt line ?) sheets and pillows, spotlessly clean, an architecturally stunning bathroom, tea, coffee, air con. We had it all, a little oasis among the hustle and bustle of the Medina Top of the pops though come the staff at the hotel and that means everyone: a fine team,. Everybody friendly, everybody knowing their jobs. Nothing was too much to ask. They really made this feel like home Finally, here is to tip. The hotel does not have a permanent restaurant but Expedia's limit on characters won't let me tell you anymore "

"The hotel is very big with lots of facilities . The only thing is that service is quite slow and facilities like sauna and steam are only started when you are physically there . Therefore cannot be enjoyed fully as it takes time to heat up"
