"The RITZ Carlton, Saint Thomas. Amazing, memorable, fun and an everlasting experience. The best decision I have made about travel accommodation, in decades. This year, it was my wife's 50th and I wanted to surprise her with something unique and different. We also have 2 small children, ages 7 & 10. The Ritz Carlton was my immediate pick. Our philosophy is that if you travel somewhere unknown with small children, choose the best there is to avoid ugly surprises, disappointments or anguish. Do not penny pinch or fool yourself into thinking that you are some sort of a travel magician. I have tried that in the past, looking for deals, cut corners. . .and it turned out 50/50 in terms of excitement vs. disappointment. The Ritz Carlton Brand delivered what it is known for, worldwide. The moment we pulled into the Ritz Carlton with our rental car, the staff was extremely attentive, welcoming, happy and excited to see us. The Bellmen drove us with their golf cart to the section of the resort that is called CLUB LEVEL. Club Level is an all-inclusive accommodation, with complementary meals, beverages, specialized service, any sports gear you can possibly think of. It is a must do for anyone that expects being pampered, kick up their feet and truly forget about everything. The people, the staff, the elevated class in service, the attention to detail is what we will always remember. Every team member from concierge to service staff held the utmost professionalism. "Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby. "

"My wife and I enjoyed the stay, our room, the staff and would be happy to stay there again. Parking is limited and accessibility is for able bodied people. We typically walked to restaurants. Our bed was comfortable, the AC unit kept the room comfortable. The breakfast was breads, cereals, coffee, milk, juice. The Inn does a pretty good job of taking care of the place, they just don't have the ability to take care of places in the neighborhood, which are a bit run-down. It is an island community, so it is a relaxed environment."
