"The beds were comfortable, the managers were very friendly and the village is lovely. It's not a fancy place, and breakfast options are simple English breakfast fare, but overall this is a gem of a place if you're hiking or exploring Peak District, especially if you need parking. We appreciated the family room option with a bunk bed for the kids and double for the adults. Note, this is not a good option for persons with mobility issues (stairs)."

Restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel. We went to an event at the Coop live and it was perfect, as we left there were queues a mile long to go back into the centre of Manchester but nothing coming out to the village hotel, glad we chose this one. The beds while spotless were a little hard and uncomfortable, the breakfast was extra and average, although a variety of cereal and yogurt not much in the way of fruit to add to it , just a little chopped pineapple and nothing else, the cooked breakfast was adequate but lukewarm.
