A French Gem

Our stay at Le Don Ronjon was amazing. Up the hill from busy Etretat, we enjoyed quiet and luxurious accommodations. The service was first class and the swimming pool and grounds were perfect. To add to that, we had a culinary treat at the attached Racines restaurant.

Located on a small cliff top is a beautiful fortress like hotel with good view of the valley and the sea. I liked how they welcomed us to their hotel when we checked in at the reception. They gave us a tour and explained what we could do at the hotel besides enjoying our room. The staff is excellent. Always helpful and smiling. It gives a home feeling, which is very lovely. Also, the central sitting area with the fireplace is fantastic. We could enjoy a cozy indoor feeling while it is storming outside. 10 for this place. Not a single bad thing to find.
