Klosterhotel Ludwig der Bayer
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel in Ettal village. Plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. Very nice breakfast included. Convenient parking. Short drive to Linderhof, which was our reason for selecting the hotel."
Hotel Müller Hohenschwangau
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location, right by the Neuschwanstein bus and carriage stops and the path up to Hohenschwangau castle, and a very short walk to the lake. Lovely restaurant - we booked a table through reception and had a table looking up at the castle. Our room was very quiet. The only slight downside was no aircon so the room was very warm (a fan was provided). Staff were very helpful. There was a small car park for guests - we arrived relatively early so didn't have any issues getting a space although there weren't enough spaces for all guests. The main town car park was nearby though. We'd highly recommend this hotel."

Das Kaltschmid
