"We stayed here few times. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Wifi had problems on some days. The staff tried to do their best to sort this. Overall nice place. "

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. Be aware of beach salesmen. Would recommend this hotel."

"Not at all welcoming, no towels in the room, broken mosquito nets over the windows and a terrible breakfast (including frozen papaya). Unfortunately this was the first day for us in Sri Lanka and since our stay we have realised how unrepresentative of the Sri Lankan hospitality this place is and how poor value. We had originally planned to stay here the night before our return journey but we cancelled our booking and went elsewhere as a result of this stay."

"The fridge and the TV in room didn't work, the pool was green, the bar photographed on their web site is closed and has mould growing up all the the walls. We had to sweep many cigarette butts away from the landing outside our front door, most of the pot plants around the property have long been dead, I could go with more on but you get the picture."

"Have stayed here on many previous occasions and keep coming back. This occasion was marred by music on the beach side of the property which did not stop until past midnight. This certainly disturbed our sleep before an early morning flight. Otherwise, recent renovations have improved bathrooms and AC. Decent breakfast. Lovely location on the beach with good pool. "Check-in not impressing. They had a paper copy of my booking, but didn't know that I had already paid for the stay. Breakfast was not very exiting. Most bowls were almost empty, and it was random which guests was asked they wanted omelet/eggs/beans. I wasn't asked at all. The room had no window. Aircon was good, but I had sweaty motorcycle clothes in the room, so not good enough to clean/dry the air. No hangers makes the closet useless. They didn't see, that my booking was for 3...
