"We really enjoyed our stay at Launceston Central - the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. Check-in was easy. Our room was spotless, large, sunny, comfortable, and with a large bathroom as well. The wardrobe had good hanging space and drawers. We had plenty of room for luggage, only one luggage rack, but my partner didn't want to ask for another (his choice). Good wifi, aircon, and telly. It's also right in the heart of town, tucked behind a main street.
There are two things to be careful about regarding mobility access. One is the stairs at the front - but when you check in, you'll get access to the side entrance with no steps, although it's up a short slope. If you're not travelling solo, get the other person in your party to check in, while you keep the luggage at street level. Then you can use the side entrance and the luggage trolley. The other thing is that there's no on-site parking, but you can get a swipe card for the parking station which is directly opposite the apartments. The parking station has a lift.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, even with the parking and access limitations. The staff were so helpful, the apartment so comfortable and convenient :-)"
