"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). The Mole Resort - Hotel rooms

8/10 Good

"A"

The Moorland Hotel, Haytor, Devon

8/10 Good

"Myself and my daughter had a lovely stay at the Moorland hotel. The grounds and setting were marvelous. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only things that weren't quite right were. Bulb out in bathroom ceiling. Bulb out in mirror in bathroom and door handle in bathroom trapped me inside as it didn't work properly. If my daughter hadn't been with me I don't know how I could have summoned help. On leaving I mentioned these things to reception and hopefully they have been rectified. Apart from that it was lovely and will definitely return."

The Cedars Inn by Greene King Inns

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."
