Lovely outdoor heated pool was a bonus , no parking available and parking next to hotel was fully booked too which was a nuisance ! But lovely hotel and staff , the bistro and bar all really lovely ! Was perfect place to stay visiting the Streatham campus Exeter university

The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Stayed for 3 nights staff good room on the small side it was the bathroom that was really small and smelt of urine I didn’t help the at the windows didn’t open at all. I accept it’s a lovely old building but it needs a lot spending on it to bring it up to Hotel Du van standards.

first time to Exeter. My wife and I stayed for a week at the hotel Du Vin . Stunningly, beautiful hotel,. Fantastic location near the Cathedral. Unfortunately we were so busy, we did not have a chance to fully enjoy the pool and the spa. I would highly recommend the hotel.Particularly for those who are looking for a hotel that’s quiet at night. A special thank you to Will at the front desk.
