"It was a wonderful trip and the Croft House was an excellent location. The rental was comfortable, clean, cozy and well equipped. I highly recommend the Croft House for a stay on the Isle of Skye. "
"It was great to have a washing machine. Didn’t notice that the dryer was out the door and in its own room until I’d already dried everything by hanging it around the apartment. Oops!"
"Absolutely stunning cottage. The property is secluded in a quiet non-touristy area surrounded by farms. Beautiful views and extremely comfortable. We can’t wait to return. "
"Exceptional property! Heatherland looks like it came out of the pages of a storybook. Perfect location to explore Skye from! The cottage was super clean, roomy, very quiet, with views for miles and miles. We would strongly recommend Heatherland to anyone travelling to Skye."
"We enjoyed our stay at Skye Cabins.
The location is fantastic, and the views are incredible! The cabin itself is very cozy and spacious, and it had everything that we needed. Would love to come back and stay there for longer."
"This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars.
The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building. It says to get keys from the neighbor which we assumed was a different house, but its not and the actual neighbor is quite annoyed that people keep showing up asking for keys. So when you show up, you...

"I don’t often write reviews but feel compelled to here. After a long day of driving from Culloden, we hit the brunt of Storm Amy in the dark before we ever hit the Skye bridge. After what felt like a lifetime in 90+ mph winds we finally got to the hotel and felt like we were walking into a friends house. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They shuffled us over to the pub next door for a warm meal and a cold beer (the food is excellent), took our bags to our rooms for us, and checked in on us while the storm passed to make sure we were comfortable. They absolutely went above and beyond at every step. The next couple of days were incredible. Breakfast is top notch, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the location is amazing. We ate at the pub each night and they were some of the best meals of our trip. We will absolutely be back. "
"I was very impressed when the staff purchased coconut milk especially for me as I am allergic to other forms of milk . I appreciated their efforts and friendly manner "
"Absolutely loved our visit to Bracken Hide hotel. The property is beautiful, the cabins are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was comfy. We were cozy and warm. Our stay included breakfast which was fantastic and we ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and the food was delicious. This was a great base for us as we explored the Isle of Skye. They had a couple of cute little sheep on the property and they were just hanging out by the cabin the first morning. Love this place and wish we could have stayed longer and yes definitely would come back!! Best hotel of our whole vacation."
"The hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant offered a great selection of food and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day!
The hotel is ideally situated for catching the ferry to the islands or visiting the Fairy Glen or Old Man of Storr. Enjoyed a fantastic break."
"Hame Hotel is in Dunvegan, so it's a bit out of the way from Portree (where most people stay). That turned out to be a blessing - our area was quiet, free from traffic, and still convenient to many sights like the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery, Dunvegan Castle, and the Three Chimneys restaurant. By contrast, Portree was a nonstop traffic jam, even in September. Our room was comfortable, and breakfast was filling and tasty. We didn't have dinner at the hotel because we failed to make a reservation - keep that in mind if you want to get dinner here, Skye has a lot more tourists than locals, which means things can fill up quickly."
"Second time staying at Flodigarry. Facilities, staff, bar, surroundings are all incredible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has amazing food and the bar has about everything you could possibly want to drink. I hope to return on a future trip to Scotland. "
