"Lovely little cottage hotel. Perfect for our family of 5, we each had our own bed. Its in a quiet location, which we enjoyed. There aren't many food options, so keep that in mind. But overall, our stay here was great. This was a convenient place just a 15 minute ride to the Jokulsarlon lagoon, where we started our glacier tour teh next day,"

"There was a long line at check-in so we had to wait about 10 minutes and then drive to our room which was only a few minutes away. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we first got there, but they sent someone over to check it out and the problem was fixed within the hour. We were able to see the northern lights from the front yard and we really enjoyed the big front porch. There were also waterfalls right in our backyard."

"Rooms are very basic, motel like but clean. And the shower had good hot water and pressure. The included breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food options but the coffee was awful! We did not eat dinner here so can’t comment on quality but prices are very high. A great location between Vik and Hofn with access to all the spectacular natural sites. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Hali Country Hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious homemade breads and freshly prepared lamb, with a wide variety of fresh and abundant options each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we especially appreciated the all-day coffee and tea station available in our building. Dinner (at an additional cost) was also excellent, with the lamb chops being a standout. In the evenings, the views around the hotel were simply breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we absolutely loved it!"

"Room and kitchen were clean, but the property ran out of hot water by the time we want to take shower. The staff could have been more responsive on this. If you need to take showers, do it right when you arrive."
