"Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the walkway to the apartment was dirty, and there was a dead bird near the front door, which created a very unpleasant first impression. There was also a strong odor on the main level throughout our stay. The apartment itself could use some maintenance. "The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is a lovely old mansion style on the top of the hill, overlooking Westport and Clew Bay. The views from the dining room were beautiful. The pool and steam rooms were very nice. It's a 15 minute walk, down the hill, into the centre of town."
